Women’s Ministry
Our vision is:
The vision of the Women’s Ministry is to create a culture of women who are committed to growth in the Lord through prayer, discipleship, and evangelism. To become women who know what their heavenly Father says about them and also walk in that power.
How do we meet needs?
- Women’s Ministry has small groups and targets women 18 years of age and up.
- Women’s Ministry is a culture and community in itself, yes, but we are also here as support to the entire church. We desire to serve every other ministry within the church from children’s to elderly.
- Outreach and great relationship with Alpha Center and are looking to grow and develop that relationship and taking care of young single moms.
Who can be involved and how?
Iasis Women’s Ministry is unique in the sense that we are looking to build relationships and friendships that will last a lifetime.
“If you want to be part of a culture committed to the care and nurturing and growth of all women with focus on the spiritual battles women deal with, come and check out Iasis Women’s Ministry.”
Where and when do the meetings/activities of our ministry take place?
- We offer and currently have small groups with 8-12 women meeting in each one at various times throughout the week to accommodate a variety of schedules.
- Beginning February 8th, we will offer a class, “Ruth,” taught by Vicki Square this semester during our STREETsm@rt classes. This is a 7-week class that meets on Wednesday nights at Iasis Christ Fellowship.
- All-Women Retreat in the fall.
- Day retreat in the spring for all women.
- College & Young Professional Women’s Bible Study beginning January 19th Thursday evenings 6-7 p.m. “Uncovering our Identity”.
- Tuesday morning prayer group 7 a.m.-7:45 a.m.
